"XXXX Anticipated A-level grades are also available on iSAMS. They are a reflection of XXXC’s current performance: the intention is to provide a candid and realistic sense of XXXX’s likely trajectory given present evidence (but which errs on the positive side in light of dons’ professional judgement). These have been arrived at holistically and carefully consider all the other evidence gathered throughout the year alongside performance in the summer exam. Issuing Anticipated A-level Grades at this stage is to help shape and develop XXXX’s university plans, whilst giving him the chance to fully engage with additional support materials, supplied by Heads of Department over the summer break. They are not final UCAS predicted grades - those will be generated in the Short Half of VI Book 1. "
