原來這两年，不单只A-level result 脹了，連大學畢業也脹了，19/20年度，ucl有59%學生是拿一级畢業，現在連名校1st hon都不值錢了

2020年以前一直1st Hon40%，但2020特然高了50%到1st Hon达60%，这年也是IB，A-level成績开始通脹。

更重要係，今年lB同A-level成績会回覆2019水平，即1st Hon，IB，A-level都回覆正常，但今年的PG，如仍按去年水平來估，但实際會以2019水平來比分，咁有可能PG 4個A*，但最后只能到低一些的結果，但好似ICL依然比個高的CO，咁就好大險了。

好似IB狀員去年HK有超过100人，今年重有冇？如果冇，大學如以去年的高分數來出CO，但实際大家成績可能係会下調...

你假設公開試同大學成績掛鉤，但我唔認同，而且英國大學收學生同hk 唔同，唔係齋睇公開試成績。
而且公開試除消令成績通脹，理論上同大學考試無關。

唔会了，不是說公开试同大學成绩掛鉤，而是从这表上看到一些偶然...
2020 covid发生，影響了各類考試成绩，咁橋個表又顯示UCL2020這一年成績与其它考試一样特然高了，会不会有同样因素在影響！如，网上考试，或改用平估代替，以致出現同样的水漲船高！

正是因為2020年時，各考試成绩都向高方向出分，引致大學要自行調整，如CO要出高d先得，否則發出的CO，100%學生都meet倒，变成唔夠位收哂。

而今年可能是回覆正常的第一年，大學也不知今年的公开試成績是回覆2020年前水平，还是如过去两三年般一样高，加上有前面两年的學生defer,形成出CO唔会輕手，但公开試反而可能会下重手，張成績回到以前水平。
但PG依然会是去年标准的给出，其结果可能是actual成绩会好大机会會比PG低一格，咁今年要meet到越比越高CO的困难就可能大了。
我只是这個意思，唔知我会唔会表达得唔清楚呢！

In the same report, it states "Covid-19 Assessments taken in 2019/20 were severely affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. UCL followed the “No Detriment” approach to classification recommended by the UK Office for Students and adopted by a wide range of Russell Group universities. No Detriment aimed to ensure that no UCL student would be academically disadvantaged by the emergency changes to assessments and teaching that we needed to put in place, including rapidly moving all teaching and assessment online. Students were very concerned that these unfamiliar assessments would lead to lower module marks. In order to reassure students, UCL agreed to use only the best 50% of any assessments taken in the 2019/20 academic session for classification purposes, unless this would disadvantage the student."

This was only applicable to assessments taken in 2019/20, not a general trend of grade inflation.

其實英國ofeqal 有指引guideline 比大學今年的收生情況同exam board 也有guideline 比學校今年PG 的reference. 所以今年應該會大部份回復正常。最差的一年係舊年2022年入大學那一年的學生，最壞的時間已經過。之前無學位的已被消化，今年2023入大學的會正常番

入到 UCL 大家都係叻仔叻女係讀書材料，多人攞 first hon 都正常。

19/20 年咁啱就係疫情期間，好多大學都有 Covid 19 contingency plan，假設學生每年需要修 100 credits，咁呢段期間就可能只會計最好成績嘅 80 credits，畀分都可能鬆手左。間間大學都咁樣。

In EK, many parents only read the headline or the summary, very rare to read the report or the methodology.
