did KM teachers actually suggest your son to repeat K1? or was it your own decision?
i often called the teachers during N and K1 bcoz my child was extremely quiet back then, i almost thought he had language impairment. anyhow, the teachers gave sincere comments and helped me understand my child's school life so much better. i learnt a lot more about my child's personalities and capabilities, which i wouldn't be able to observe those at home. being the volunteered parent for the extra events is useful as well

i don't think it's that much of a tough decision when it comes to transparency - you want to know how your child is doing at school and his progression. KV just can't give you that.

我的b 都係2015細b, 今年都會重讀k1，因為小肌肉發展差，執筆差， k2要寫字對佢黎講係辛苦，培養男仔，最重要係自信心！

我囝仔都係細B, 又係係KV repeat 做大仔，感覺很好
KV並不完全像外人所講, 本人感覺不錯，另外transparency方面，其實好多野可以問返班老師，好多時佢地都會講，例如net /普通話上堂次數，學緊咩等等都可以問，我地班主任每次評估都會提大家，我自己覺得幾好
另外學校教書真係有一手，阿囝好入腦，樓主再自行考慮下

KM 比較全面，以學校計留在KM 好。可以和Km 老師明言想repeat 嗎？排一個k1 位應該唔太難

其實一張白紙點油都係會有色嘅，睇下你想你張白紙同其他白紙都係一式一樣，定係充滿其他屬於你自己嘅色彩。識唔識教見仁見智，有啲人認為係教到Standard嘅就係識，但我認為係將知識融入生活，能夠開心學習課本內外的知識先至係識教，一生受用。

imho, you might want to check for dyslexia. both KM and KV involve a lot of writing from the 2nd semester of K2. K1 is the honeymoon period that the kids think they like doing homework, and parents think their kids enjoy doing it. if your son struggles now, he will struggle further more.
