Sorry for the late reply.
The new Kei Wan - over 90% can go into band 1 secondary school (but this result is according to the last 3 years P.6 results). Mostly they focused in Music and this year the choir went to England for the competition and got the 1st winner. New Kei Wan is the best in net 15 and 16. But I am concerning is the child can study in this school or not. As this school always push their student get the best results. Most of my friends' child study here and they all said it is really pushing and always need in a good condition to study otherwise they need to see the teacher. One of my friend's daughter finally changed to the other school as there is so much pressure. And now she is studying in St. Francis and she loves this school so much. If you can have spare time and study with them, then I suggest you to choose this school otherwise you and your child will get the stress in studying.
New Kei Wan, you need to attend at least 1 music activities. Even in the activities you need to pay full affords to learn, if you don't practise / play good then the teachers will purnish you. Some parents in Old Kei Wan (before they are the same school) saw the teachers purnish the student and let him stand outside for 1 hr. (of course the boy's parent didn't know it).
Most of my friends let their children go to "learning centre" for 3 hours everyday after school. And now heard that they are not pushing so much expect the "Ching Ying" class. The teachers and the principal are very serious.
The Old Kei Wan - got 70-80% go into band 1 secondary school. Actually I compare the test papers, exam papers, worksheets with two Kei Wan and found that the syllabus are the same levels. Sometimes I found that the old Kei Wan the exams and test papers are quite ticky than new Kei Wan. Old Kei Wan got a good result in P.3 evaluation, over 90% in English and 90% in Maths, this result is better than new Kei Wan.
Old Kei Wan have a lot of activities, such as tennis, chinese dances, football, they are foucs in Mulitpules activities. The teachers are young but have the experiences. The teachers always encourage the student to do their best not pushing. My daughter studys here and she loves to go to school everyday. When she get the good result in the exam, the teachers will encourage her to get higher in next time. The students will get the test every 2 weeks, dictation : 1 time @week, exam : 2 times @term.
Yau Cho Wing - it is also good and not pushing. The result of the P.6 is also good. Mostly the parents will choose the 2nd choice.
