That’s our concern too. The progr ...  Perhaps I could share sth about what do we do at UCL 
Year 1: Public, Contract, Criminal, Property I 
Year 2: EU, Tort, Jurisprudence, Property II (Equity) 
 
There is 2 hours lecture for each module every week, and 1 hour tutorial per module every two weeks. Basically, the time we spent at uni is minimal and we do a lot of ECAs or networking stuff. 
 
All modules (except jurisprudence) are assessed solely by a final examination and most people just do their revision during their Easter break. It's perfectly fine. However, it is noteworthy that year 1 DOES count towards classification for UCL LLB of the UCL-HKU programme. Year 1 grades are usually much lower than year 2/3 grades (usually 5 marks lower; majority in the high 2:2- low 2:1 range during year 1). For my cohort, some have suffered from this policy.
