Updates on 叩門 / Waitlist

Just like to share & hope others will share your news or updates so that other parents may know more on whether there is any chance or further follow up letter is necessary.  For me, I have sent out letters or waitlist form for the following primary school:

1. Marynoll
2. Heep Yunn
3. St Rose
4. Holy Family (Kowloon Tong) (Interview on THU)
5. St. Paul Convent
6. APS (Already on waitlist before)
7. Kowloon Tong School Primary (Written Test on Sat)
8. Good Hope (Already rejected on last week)
9. SFA

For Mau Tau Chung Government (Hung Hom Bay), the deadline for collection of application form is 13 June, so I guess it should be within this or early next week.

Ma Tau Chung Govt. (Hung Hom Bay will notify the applicants on 17-6-2005 by phone.

No. Just received telephone calls from Holy Family and KTS.

Any others received calls or letters from these or any schools??

Hi hot1234,

Is Holy Family (Kowloon Tong) your first choice for central allocation stage? Which Kindergarten does your girl attend? You may ask the Headmaster to give you a recommendation letter.

Good Hope will not give you reject letter, they just sent you a letter saying that your kid is still on waiting list and will only give you answer on August. Was your kid on waiting list before?

There is no reject letter, but just a phone call from the school saying that there is no space. Perhaps, my daughter did not apply for it in the 1st application, and they will only consider those waitlist children.

Some more updates, SFA just called yesterday for written test on next week. Have also heard from other parents that APS has started to call those waitlist children to decide whether to admit the school & pay the school fee for registration. I will check this morning as I still not receiving any calls.
