Nickmum,

Could you share the interview.  Are there 2 interviews, one for kid and one for the parents. Do DBSPD request certificate and ask the kid to demonstrate that thing which you stated in the profile e.g. singing, playing viloin, panio, drawing etc.

Do you mind to tell me what is the occupation for you and your husband and how many certificate your boy have.  Is it very important.  How they choose the boys for their school.  Pls advise.   Many thanks.

yes, i understand that the school would need more time to establish.  
I have some comments on the seating arrangement,  some students need to sit with the back facing the blackboard.  that is not good, they have to turn around if they want to look at the blackboard and the teacher.

Yes, you are right but hope that they do not need to look at the blackboard too much in each lesson.  Does your son say that the teachers all talk in English?  Mine said it's a mix (he is in P.3).

my son also in P.3, he says that the class teachers speaks in both english and chinese.  there should be two class teachers, right? the english teacher is a foreigner.

I think it's quite difficult to arrange another round of school bus either b/f or after school?!

As per yesterday's circular, are your kids going to take the Badminton/Table Tennis/Tennis/Fencing course?

My son would like to try the badminton and table tennis one.

Hope to have more sharing here!

our sons are in the same class.  do you take you son to school or he goes by school bus? have you ever met the class teachers?

for the training courses, they are to be held too early in the morning and no school bus service is available.  difficult to enrol.

If after the ECA, a school bus just stopped at a MTR station, eg Prince Edward even Olympic (whichever can avoid from the nereby traffic jam), will be much easier for us to arrange. Don't you think so?

I agree, we can raise this to through the parent teacher association upon its formation?  

in fact we don't have any channel now to convey our message to the school except through the handbook which is quite passive.  it would be better if there is some kind of meeting with the class teachers soon after the school term starts so that we can at least know the class teachers and the teaching method/curriculum etc.  but i recalled that the first parent day would be held in january after the first exam.  so late.
