can we check the result from their web-site??? Some parents said Marymount is a very famous school in hong kong island. The English standard is very high. How do u know St.Paul's result is better than Marymount??? Please help!! Many thanks!!!

i calculated from the webpage provided by Adayeung.
But the St. Paul's with average 0.55A is the one in HappyValley, not St. Paul's convent as corrected by Adayeung too.

The hkedicty.net Marymount F5 have 4 classes and 160 students.
Marymount school web-site only 108 candidates entered Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination 2004 and got 142A.

I can’t confirm you Marymount = 1.31A because 52 students not entered the HKCEE2004.

Thank you for all your help!!! I always meet the girls from both schools at Causeway Bay. I found some girls from Marymount wear the long ear ring.........are girls more trendy at Marymount??? If you were me, what's your choice??? Please help!

i know a mother of Marymount Secondary. According to her, Marymount D 女仔乖D because St. Paul's convent 位於centre of causeway bay, secondary students can go shopping right after school more easily. But you know, her comment may be biased.
I know some primary students of both school, and they are all very polite and well-behaved. The mother of the girl studying at St. Paul's says that she can leave her daughter at school till 5:00pm to do her homework. A teacher will be there to help them if they have questions regarding homework. Marymount 好似冇

今年中學部一百六十個中一學額，就保留了一百零二個給小學部，那麼兩校會否朝「一條龍」發展呢﹖馬校長坦言「結龍」需要考慮很多因素﹕其一是以目前中學部的校舍，根本沒有餘額吸納校外生，不過新翼落成後，室驗室、美術與設計室等將遷往新翼，騰空的地方或能改裝成為課室﹔其二是教學語言政策這塊「絆腳石」，英中一旦未能取錄85%適合以英語授課的新生，即面臨「落車」危機。

　　不過，馬校長向家長保證，學校一定會於二○一二年之前落實會否結龍，Elsie即時追問馬校長，瑪利曼會否索性轉做直資學校，自決授課語言﹖馬校長說不排除這個可能，但校方必先徵詢家長的意見。

我有個朋友的女兒讀Marymount F.2，她告訴我她女兒全班同學也在拍拖，如果沒拖拍，反而很奇怪。

不過，我覺得每一間小學也有好學生及頑皮學生，教學方法也有好有壞，老師也有好與不好，所以不能以某些事評定一所學校好不好。作為家長的我，只會以那所學校的教育方法及道德論是否適合女兒來為她選校。

其實六年後，那所學校會變得好或差，也很難在今天猜想得到。所以不應太多顧慮，應以子女是否適合該校來為他們選一所開心學習的學校。

願所有今年小一生，也開心學習去。

我覺得Marymount畀社會的透明度好低. 如果冇朋友係個度讀過, 一味只係知道呢間係英文小學, 英文好叻, 但什麼也不知, 我覺得呢間學校應該要開放多d, 例如其他名校, 佢地的透明度都好高, 令社會人士有較深的認識.

但呢間學校, 就好像自以為自己係名校, 而有點"高傲", 其實, 我也不太欣賞這間學校, 因我時常出入跑馬地區, 總觀, 很多學生比較驕縱, 打扮時髦(我講係就算著住校服也如此), 例如載時髦眼鏡, 書包裝飾係一串一串,行為高傲(係自信過多而引致自以為是......... 我諗全港唔係得佢一間名校, 但又唔見佢會考年年有狀元出..... 反觀, 人地入到聖保羅, 女拔, ST. Mary....大都比較得體.
