ESF 小學 Y1 收生要求，可在 website 睇。
Applicants must demonstrate through interview and assessment that they are capable of engaging with an English medium curriculum.
Applicants learning and social skills, together with their ability to cooperate with adults and other children, will be taken into consideration.
At interview, students’ potential for language learning will be explored as well as their ability to engage and succeed within the curriculum being offered at the school.
所以，ESF 不是只看英語水平。
英語水平只是基本，非 ESF kindergarten 甚至讀 local kindergarten 並不代表人地英語水平低。
ESF 從來冇話 ESF kindergarten 直升 ESF Y1，
所謂 priority 是 priority to interview ，不達 ESF Y1 收生要求唔收，十分合理。
比 Y1 reject ，等於唔達標，就係咁。
當然，小朋友面試當日的狀態也十分重要，
