Hello Brian Ma,

My case is same as yours in two years ago.
My son becomes practise less after bought the second hand play toy though it was a cheap and not a brand one. It cost $5000. I'll rather treat that as a leasing piano.My son is going to take the exam at Grade 3 by Sep and I 've started to think about to upgrade the equippment . H/ever, he has proved himself tt his performance skill is far more better after he joins the daily practice class at the piano centre. And it is worth to let him go in this way for at least he must keep on practising plus seeking improvement from the teacher during the class. So, I've made up my mind not to rush for the change until he asked for it. His teacher also agree upon this decision. Of course, you must live near by your piano learning centre.  The teacher has offered me
$280/month (Mon-Sat , 30mins or beyond is not a matter ).

This is my personal opinion.

May I ask where did you get this piano teacher?? Where is their location??? Actually, I live in HK Island. What you mentioned before, $280/month for Mon to Sat , 30mins for everyday???If so, it is very cheap....

Hi Lilian Sze & ICHU,

That is equal to leasing their pianos for daily practise. But only offer to her students. The centre is located at Pokfulam Rd ( opposite of St Steven Church College). $280/mth is not a tution fee.

Dear Heart,
My daughter is practising her piano in in her centre three times a week. It seems to me that  she is reluntant to practising more. Everytime  I request her to practise more and she will refuse and said three times a week is enough. Now I also plan to buy a second hand piano for her to pratice. Do you think it is worth? I 'm afraid that she will even more lazy when I buy a second hand piano. I also afraid that she will quit the piano class. What is your opinion?

Hi jadetang,

How old are your daughter? Did she get any exam yet? Luckily, I just got the piano from Tom Lee which I requested for 2mths ago. They offer $280 per month for renting. They will not offer you to choose what brand of the piano. But luckily, I just got a old model YAMAHA which made by Japan. If you are not rush, I will highly recommand that you can waitlist on TomLee for about 2mths-3mths.
