Re: 8歲考五級琴試獲得distinction
Hi crystalcbh,
My son applied HKAcademy Piano program last year. He got Grade 2 distinction and achieved Honours in the H.K. School Music Festival Grade Two Piano.
My son was less than 5 yrs. old when he attended the first interview. I think he was the youngest at that time. He may performed pretty good and be given the second assessment among the huge applicants.
However, he performed really bad at the second assessment and finally rejected by Professor Wong.
I think Professor Wong should chose the most talent kids among the huge applicants.
You should try. Your kid must be very smart. But you should devote much time and effort if your kid finally accepted by the program.
My friend who is a piano teacher, is teaching some of the kid coming from the H.K. Academy Music Piano Program. She said the program is really very tough and tight.
