兒子一歲多，開始research playgroup同幼稚園資料，對Montessori學校很有興趣，不過似乎99%學校都在港鳥區? 我地住九龍.. search來search去似乎得兩間, 九龍塘 Infinity Montessori，同尖沙咀 Best Concept。想睇下有無人可以分享經驗意見?

You bet. There's no Montesorri school in Kln nor NT. Best concept and infinity are not really kindergarten. They are 興趣班？correct me if my info is wrong .

If you look for playgroup I would recommend Ms Ellen in TST. My son is in her class and he enjoyed the loving n real Montessori environment.
This is not ad, we r real user.

I've tried both BC and IC. Finally took best concept for both my boys, studied full time there before Pre nursery. It offers small kid and big kids class (website refers for details).

My daughter attended both and very quick we chose best concept.
Infinity was New Years ago but they had one more campus at kln tong. It was good but I think it is quite expensive to afford. They start to recruit lots of students but not enough qualified teachers. Teachers always changed. Ms daisy and Ralph are good but they only have four hands right?! Soon I moved my daughter to best concept. If is not a kindergarten even they got school licence. The teachers there are more stable and teacher student ratio is very low. They helped my daughter how to go toilet by herself and made her very independent. Classes are conducted in mandarin and English which helped my daughter a lot before she got admitted in primary.
See if you want a kindergarten or not, if yes, both infinity and best concept are not your choice. But what I can say is that I feel like BC did better than her kindergarten indeed.

Thanks for sharing!! So.. (sorry if this sounds like a stupid question) after attending Infinity, and then what happens? attend it until the kid is old enough for kingergarten and then go elsewhere for K1, or..? i'm struggling between enrolling him to a playgroup at a real "school" that leads to nursery and then K1 2 3 (e.g. Anfield, Kingston..?) or, start him off at a Montessori like best concept and then think about kindergarten later. any advice?

Thanks!! just curious, so which nursery did you move on to after attending BC? the transition was fine?

st catherine. To me transition is good as pn of sc focuses much on the self caring and independence.

It really depend on your plan on education. But for security, better found a school to start on to k. What I found is that nowadays kindergartens become more commercially run, it's difficult to find one with really caring teacher caring and respecting our children. They teach for what needed for one to go to a top elite primary but forget the unique development of each child. That's why I sent my daughter to BC, but I did spend lots of money attending both kindy and Montessori.

2個孩子都在BC唸, 我住港島的. 當時參觀了IMS, INFINITY, DMS, ICMS等, 個人覺得BC最好. 大女唸至4歲, 曾短期同步唸另一間幼稚園, 細仔只唸BC一間, 沒有在外面上幼稚園, 一星期返5天, 當幼稚園返, 直至進國際學校唸Year 1為止。Ms Ellen以前在BC教過我個仔的, 後來才出來自己開班.
