我想問如果差不多時段考5級小號and7級鋼琴，需要同時學5級和7級aural嗎？還是學7級就已經包括晒？

I believe if the student can handle the grade 7 aural well, grade 5 is not a problem. But the student should be also told and do some trial for the grade 5 aural which only consist 3 sections: sing a melody played by examiner, sight singing some notes and answering questions toward an unknown music.

The candidates should know what happen during the aural part even it is much easier for grade 5.

There are 3 parts only for Grade 5 aural
a. repeat the melody (can sing or play)
b. sight singing 6 notes in your own speed
c. listen to the music and then answer 2 main questions (one must be period, would give 3 choices for you to choose), then clap back the rhythm of the notes + state the beats

for grade 7, aural is much harder with 5 main parts:
a. repeat the lower part of the 2 part phrase (can sing or play)
b. sight singing a upper part of the 2 part phrase (must follow the pulse of examiner) (can choose treble clef or bass clef)
c. listen to a cadence (3 choices)
d. modulation
e, listen to the music and answer 2 main questions, also need to clap the rhythm of the notes and state the beats.
