5 years should be the full course.  You have to pass the exam in HK so as to register as a dentist.  The cost for the course and living around HK3M if u a an oversea student.

留學西班牙的費用較低， 以修讀牙醫學士學位課程為例，每年學費港幣21萬左右， 連生活約35萬港元。

考取執照助事業發展
的大學牙醫學系開辦的「國家文憑」學士學位課程， 以英語為教學語言，為期5年，內容理論與臨床實習並重， 包括2年基礎醫學及3年牙醫見習及臨床實習，畢業後， 學員無須另外參加執照考試， 即 可在西班牙直接登記取得註冊牙醫執照， 並得到歐盟27個國家承認。

You have to check the details and content of the course. i havent studied the course offered in Spain. If the student will stay in Europe, it will be fine.  If the student would like to come back HK for practising, please check carefully.
