AIS我聽聞校風不好﹐無中文學﹐勝在一條龍
Anfield 上到小六就無啦﹐但係好多人都話呢間好

Anfield好似同ICHK有聯繫，year 6申請入year 7有priority，另外JIS，HLYIS同Kingston都一樣有priority。如果第日小朋友會去美國既就通常會揀AIS，用AP成績申請入美國大學會好D。如果未諗好既，Anfield係行英國學制，ICHK係IGCSE+IB DP，用IB成績申請各國大學都ok。

早幾年幫細女報Anfield幼稚園，都有留意佢哋嘅消息，去過school visit，Anfield係間好學校，但因離家太遠，所以最後無讀。

Although my girl didn't attend Anfield Kindergarten. From what I observed on the day of school visit, the school didn't push the kids too much on academic which I really appreciate, most of the time they are playing, singing, reading etc. This is very different from local kindergartens where children have to sit still and listen to teacher's instructions. I believe most international kindergartens do not assign much homework to children, perhaps bringing some story books from school to read, but no book reports are required, so that children could enjoy the process of reading with no pressure.

Agree with caramom, Anfield doesn't push children like most of LS. They let the children to learn on their own phases. Example1: they ask children to put up their hand & ask nicely for cookies during snack time. By the end, everyone will hv cookies, but the one who put up their hands first, got it first.
Example2: they do their separation training with the parents just outside of the classroom. Instead of crying for parents, they can ask nicely to seek for a hug/kiss/ even parents stay in the class for a little while, until they are ready to play again. If the children can hv parents out side of classroom the whole time, they gets a stamp. So, most of them will be ready for K1's separation.
The teachers are very caring & open minded. You can talk to them anytime.
For KG, we think it's a wonderful school for the young children, however, they are not 100% to primary. Plus, no train secondary school yet!!!

So did you choose Anfield at last ?Is Whampao Anfield equally good as KLT Anfield?

That will be a very long story! To make it short, we like Anfield (KLN Tong)'s environment and teaching style over the PN we went last year.  My BB was so sick during her PN class and we went to Doctor more then the school. Touch wood, she hasn't been sick since we are in Anfield.  As my knowledge, the classroom size are double in terms of number of students. All teaching staff are open to any suggestion.  They really believe each child is different. They don't request for perfectness, in stead they give them time to learn.  We are so happy with how fast she learn now.  It seems she has so much space in her head to input knowledges and skills.  She is finding solutions for her make up stories and songs everyday. It's always the best to see for yourself, try a term of playgroup with your child.  Watch how other teachers teach other classes, you will understand what I mean.
