If your kid is calm and even responds properly to the teacher, he has a chance. Of course if everyone is like this, teachers have their ways to select some better ones.

Crying kids usually have a far worse performance as they can't stop crying and follow the teacher's instruction.
Even kids like mine who can't talk very well (mine did not say a word or answer the teacher's question) can do what the teacher asks. They can have a better chance.
