My child has visited a USA medical doctor who applies biomedical treatment to autistic children in Hong Kong for one year. He is making progressive improvement, e.g. active to express his feelings and approach new friends, can carry interactive conversation with family members and close friends, ..... Although he is still far behind those normal children, especially the part of attention span, he has improved a lot during this year. I can't say that the doctor really helps him a lot as he has received various therapies at the same time. As my child is old (discovered his problem at the age of 3 8/12), I can't miss any possible chance to help him; otherwise, I will regret for the rest of my life. Just to share with you my experience. Hope that it may help you.
