有冇男拔、女拔小朋友的家長呀？

想問吓你哋仔仔、女女讀邊間幼稚園o架？想作為參考！

When my children studied in K1, they were joining the most common ECA, e.g. swimming, ice-skating, piano, drawing, English drama, children choir.

Dear Rachethew,

Do you have to spend a lot of time reviewing your kids' homework now? How can you spare the time to take care of both their homework and ECAs?

You know taking care of one kid's homework is already not that easy. But now your case is two kids studying in 2 famous schools. How can you find the energy?

Do you need to work full-time?

I'm a full time mom and actually I spend all my time with my children everyday. My free time will be after 11pm everyday.

Luckily, my husband do help me a lot in looking after them and their homework!!
Actually my little son is studying in Kinder now and will go to primary in the coming Sept.

Hi, Apple,

My children are having their English drama classes in Kid's Gallery in Kowloon Tong. The teacher their are good and native speaking. you can try if you are interested.
I had submitted personal profile to all the schools that I applied. I think that if you have some achievement in your ECAs would increase the chance for getting into those famous schools. They do concern about your QUALITY of ECAs that QUANTITY. ( just personal opinion)

Dear Rachethew,

Thank you very much for your kind sharing.

I really understand how stressful it is to be a full-time mother. On the other hand, you will not miss any precious moments with your kids and any moments when they need you.

I am a working mother. Sometimes have to work till very late at night. I feel quite guilty at times. But I have to face the reality --- I have to earn money.

BTW, I heard that famous schools like DGS or DBSPD prefer mothers staying at home to take care of their kids. Is it true according to your observation?

No, there are a lot of working moms in these famous schools, but they do spend a lot of their rest time with their children - it is true.

Sorry, I don't have ideas of Kid's Gallery.  I am still searching those courses to my girl.

In these few days,  I have got those info from below:

Which one is better for phonics ?  Can anybody give ideas to me and help me ?

Your daughter and son gets into the famous schools. They must be very smart. They are well trained by you, and you have done a lot to prepare for the interviews. Is this correct ?

Can you share your experience with me ? How you prepare for the interviews ? According to yr experience, which aspects you think are the most important for the positive result?

You know, some children are shy in front of new face/new environment. This characteristics will affect their performance during interview. No matter how good their school results are or how hardworking they are, they cannot express well at the short-time interview. Can you give me some advice ?

Hi Wendi,

Actually I didn't know the exact sucessful criteria, but maybe due to their character. Both of them are very out-going and like to talk to strangers. My son even told me that he loved to talk and played with the principals !!! So I think that he was very relax when he was having the interviews so he could present himself very well.
