Money doesn't have to be a concern here. The tuition fee at CWB is cheaper than RC by around HK$10,000 a year. If your child spends the primary at CWB, the tuition fee that you save may just trade off the HK$ 60,000 that you forego now. So I think you'd better give more weight on: (1) commute time from home to school; (2) options for future secondary school; and (2) Chinese program. RC has no catchment zone requirement. If your child is able to do well in CWB, he/she will have a higher chance to get into RC secondary school, but it's not so easy for a RC primary graduate to secure a seat in other ESF secondary schools due to ESF's priority system. |
