I suggest you search the old posts. There are a lot of posts related to GT in BK. Some very good comments, but some very bad comments.

I would say none of DSS/Private is easy to apply. A smart student will apply plenty of DSS/Private as backup. It means you will face similar competitors for all those DSS/Private schools. You may get the offers after those smart students drop the offers.

上年面試有一情境深刻記得，分組面試大約十五個小朋友及各家長，安排到一小禮堂，小朋友到台前與校長玩遊戲，攞咗幾個火車頭公仔（Tomas ）出嚟，第一句就問有無小朋友知道呢個公仔叫咩名?好快小朋友就答咗佢，校長叫講：「實識啦，唔識都唔係香港人嚟㗎。」玩完遊戲小朋友跟住老師上課室正式面試，家長就坐係禮堂等，校長就坐係禮堂台前，攞咗本書出嚟同埋攞枝瑩光筆出嚟一路睇，一路用瑩光筆間，我第一時間就唸唔使咁辦嘢係馬，離開禮堂我再問我另一半有咩感覺，佢答我覺得校長好物質主義同做作。（個人意見）小女最後收咗，決定唔讀

It's a very good and origanised school that I have seem last year. The teachers are nice and helpful. Even the parents are requested to join 10 lessons to get a seat for their kids, it's very good channel for both school and parents to more understand each other. I am so happy and lucky that my son may join their family this year.

last yr hv around 1300 (according to principle) application, and hv 96 seats offer, so the ratio of offer is 1:13, I think in normal range as many 2nd tier DSS. I don't hv favour to the principle himself  (I think his marketing skill is so so even like business man)  , but I ok with the 校監 and the school's small class size, higher NET ratio, a bit faster  than normal school and many after school activities....

Originally I don't like the parent talks too as thinking waste of our time, but after those talks, I start to feel the school is devoting time to let the potential parents to learn more about the school.  After almost 7 months, still over 200 parents per talk (incl those hv offer and waiiting), so I believe parents will hv similar feeling as me too.

GT don't hv long history, it hv many places need to be improved and  hv its pros and cons,  so the new applicants are suggested to listen/observe more so to understand more.

補充：我最初申請GT前已在不同途徑查詢有關GT情況，很多有關學校評語都是正面及好的，以上帖子評論只不過是個人的親身經歷，亦是有感而發，我在其他帖子亦曾講過無一間學校是完美的，在學校簡介會、面試、甚至到學校睇放學都是觀察這學校是否適合自己仔女，我放棄了GT不是講GT唔好，唔好都唔會超過一千人申請，香港人好叻㗎，只不過是有其他比較好嘅offer，更適合小女，平實D，歷史耐D又近D。

GT only has one interview. Other primary schools commonly have 2 interviews.

等候的時間用來閱讀也是負面的印象，真是。。。

上年聖誕節小三在諾亞方舟有公開的音樂表演，校長的兒子也有份參加。每當等候的時間，校長一手拿着一本厚厚的硬皮書，另一手拿着螢光筆站立着來看書。當時我只有佩服他的腕力和好學精神，從沒有想過他是做給其他人看。

等候時間只不過是兩分鐘，小朋友排隊上課室直至離開禮堂，兩分鐘後著家長往某某課室進行參觀，兩分鐘都唔放過睇書，爭分奪秒，唔識欣賞，最後都是嗰句，個人感受而矣。

有同感！或該校長喜好閱讀，但也看場合，成班家長在面前，可走上前寒喧打個招呼，相當好多家長也想從校長身上理解他們辦學理念。以我同囡囡面試，未見過校長只顧自身，忽略家長。所以小女也放棄了GT既offer,還有多間更適合小女及我們的！
