I would rather use "pee pee" & "poo poo" for babies. More easy for a baby to learn to communicate with the adult when they want to go to toilet in their 牙牙語階段. Such a long phrase and the pronounciation is not that easy, I am afraid during
If want to let the baby/child knows the formal way of saying, the adult can say the formal saying when the baby is doing the action. My maid use the term "making stools" when my son was sitting in the potty (I don't know if the verb making is right or not), now my son knows stools = 屎. Boys' position is not the same for the 2 actions. Now, if my boy says he wants to go to toilet, we will ask him "urine" or "stools"?
