My son had his N1 interview back in Oct 2011 in MOS branch. The principal happened to interview us. The interview was one to one with both parents' company. Since my son did not know any English and was unable to communicate with the principal, he ended up toying and running around the classroom with his mom for like 20 minutes while the principal interviewed me. The whole interview was in English, and the principal asked me some basic questions about his daily routines, growth milestones, how we take care of him, what we expect from the school, etc. She then let me ask a few questions about the school, curriculum, Montessori vs High Scope, bla bla bla…. I specifically reminded her that my son was very active and tended to challenge rules set by the elders, and she needed to make sure his type fitted this school well. Since my son was still running around the classroom at the end of the interview, my last statement to the principal was "Well...as you can see, he is very active and eager to explore everything, I hope you are ok this kinda kid...." Man! That was embarrassing. Other Kids in the same room seemed to need to sing simple English song, do simple dance, and identify eyes, nose, mouth, etc. |
