E.g. Heep yunn, maryknoll? My relative was an old girl of maryknoll, she told me her girl guarantee can get into maryknoll. I know 10 pts will be given, he girl also got baptised so another 5 pts, total 25 pts incl right age range application. Is that enough? If my girl gets 20 pts only, will she still get a chance to be allotted? Thanks

I think there is no guarantee because you never know how many people with the same marks in your year and how popular the school that year is. However, assuming both are in the same level of popularity, Maryknoll will have higher chance because they have 5 classes whereas HY has 3 classes

Yes my husband is La Salle old boy and his friends said 25 pts have very high chance, 20 pts have some chance.

School net of heep yunn or maryknoll are different, right? I live in heep yunn school net, so can I still apply for maryknoll?

Just want to share an earlier comment from a friend who makes me laugh...
According to her, 20pt is harder for boys school. The reason is that for girls school, if you are an old girl, your competition is likely graduates ~5 years above & below your class. So unless 1 in to 10 graduates have a girl in the same year, get baptized if no older sister and want to join P1, there should be some spaces left for 20pts. For boys

, the compeition may be from a graduate 30 years your senior whose son is from a 二奶or三奶

I'm not interested in knowing whether there is any truth to her logic, but just thought its kinda funny

My aunt is an old girl of SFA, but no benefits for the kids. She has 4 kids and tried to apply 2 times already, both rejected. So, she gives up and will not try again while the third kid going to P1.

anyway, my relative's girl has 20 pts to Heep Yunn too as she lives in HY school net. her girl can get the 10 pts from her mum even she doesn't live in Maryknoll schoolnet. i am so envy as don't have to worry.

anyway, my relative's girl has 20 pts to Heep Yunn too as she lives in HY school net.

Lives in HY school net cannot increase her points, the only benefit is, she can participates in part B of "Central Allocation" Stage

25分應該都好secure，不過佢mcs 25分，hy就冇可能20分吧?除非有個大女係hy小學畢業
