My elder son was studied at st.cat, whereas my younger son is now studying at York 中英班 K1. Comparing their K1 syllbus, York is a little bit difficult than St. Cat. My younger son now can read 4X chinese characters and started to read Oxford Reading Tree. However, my elder son started to read oxford reading tree at his K2 only. In term of conversation and listening, st. cat is definitely better than York.
But it is hard to compare the 2 kindergartens, cos they have different course structure at different stages, and it also depends on the preference/nature of the child.
my son is now in York PM but will change to St. Cat in K1.
I like York's training on cambridge eng. test and maths training, any advise if St. cat will provide the same training and test or I need to arrange in other playgroups? And is it meaningful to have such tests? Thank you.
