Good to hear that you have lots of offers.   For me, I choose Stafford am, then SN. Not choose LH (Olympic) pm.  If less homework, why don't you consider Creative and 靈糧堂.

My friends' daugher has the Creative PN am and Cannan PN am but choose York PN (am) at the end. Because want to have a better foundation for Primary school.

Stafford's curriculum is quite difficult. For K1, there is at least one homework everyday. And since 2nd term of K1, kids have to start writing Chinese characters. They have assessment by end of 1st term, incl. Eng., Chinese & Maths. But I do believe that helps to build up a stronger base, probably & hopefully,  having higher chances to get offers at DSS / private primary sch. Further, kids will have big exposure in Eng with teaching by NET for two hours daily and also in PTH for 30 mins everyday. Teachers are experienced and good. But the school fee is a bit expensive comparatively.

Agree.  Stafford's native teachers are really good.  But it's curriculum is really difficult.  For "big" kids of higher ability, stafford is quite a good choice as they can cope with a little assistance.  For "small" kids who are not mature enough, the pace will be too fast for them.

To : helenli

With reference of the mid-term assessment, my gal, being a "small" kid, had performed at average ranking at class. The overall ranking was based on all academic subjects including music, art & craft ... & so on. Though with no prize, I am still fine with my gal's result as she got only one question being answered wrongly for whole set of exam papers. But for writing or doing homework. I think most "small" kids are probably weaker than "big" kids.

I AGREED WITH WHAT YOU SAID. MINE IS IN YORK (INT'L) & BEING A "SMALL KID". THE CIRRICULUM IS VERY SIMILAR AS STARFORD. BUT I CAN SEE THEY CAN CATCH UP THE PATH WITHOUT HASSLE PARTICULAR IN ENGLISH. THE HOMEWORK IS QUITE HEAVY COMPARING WITH SOME SCHOOLS. BUT IT ALSO SAVES OUR TIME TO SEEK FOR THE EXTRA-CIRRICULUM OUT THERE & LAYS THE FOUNDATION TO CONNECT TO CERTAIN PRIMARY SCHOOLS WE TARGET TO.
