My kid said the teachers will ask them to go back to "class BB" too if they behave in an undesirable way. I've found it quite an effective way to correct my kid's behavior at home. Believe it or not, when I ask the kid if she likes her class teacher, she says "Yes". So, I think the tone of voice matters. The same words presented in a different manner yield different results.
Talk to the teacher if you feel it is necessary. At the same time, let your kid know that you understand her feelings. She needs support when she feels hurt at school. |
