My daugther was accepted by APS and also selected into HYPS from HY kinder.
I chose HYPS for her.Both schools are good.
She is happy with the school.Be sure that HYPS students should have the priority to HYS even it is now a DDS school.

TOTALLY agree !!
No need to go to APS interview in December, go to HY !! Good School with good teachers, good reputation, good secondary, less worry six years later.
In APS, need to worry about the secondary six years later.

We will still go to APSKT for interviews as my dream schools are HYS and DGS. Do u know how many students from HYPS go to DGS after p.6? Really like to know.
APSKT each year has at least 5 to 13 girls going to DGS. Also I have 1 younger son.
Both are good school but Heep Yunn seems to be better, as (1) no school fee and (2) has connected secondary school. Studying at APS does not guarantee your son can also enter the it. And also the no. of girls going to DGJS six years later is unknown, the current figure is just for reference. Anyhow, you should focus on which school better suits your girl's character and abilily (says you prefer her in girls' school or co-ed school).
Agree that you should attend APS's interview if you have time in case you regret later. Meanwhile, you still have time to consider which school better suits your girl.
