Teachers' training should be placed at the University context, with basic humanity and liberal arts and general education foundation before go on with skills training as teachers.

All teachers should learn about subjects related to culture, sociology and arts, philosophy, know to appreciate life before going on to their "professional training".

"professional training" sometimes is too mechanical and skill focused or knowledge focused.

A good teacher knows how to challenge the existing education system, has a courage to face parent's unreasonable request, as well as able to face diversified needs of children, and will not treat them mechanically as a "distinct" group, expecting them fulfilling mechanical ways of learning outcome.

A good teacher is a scientist (know the knowledge) as well as an artist (care about humanity and proud of his/her own role)

agree!!

being mum and dad should always be suspicious about their "big educational plan"?? see if they are consistent on what they said with what they do actually!!

No need to wait and see, we know the answer....

I just repeat my philosophy....

"Our education officials told us to move forward one step

, I will stop and look around, then either left/right turn or 2-3 steps back. It's not social dance.........
