Hi , tococoa your situation is exactly the same as mine. My child also loves English. I also have the same feeling as you do. I am afraid that I will make a wrong choice and regret. She studied in an international school in N1. However, my husband always tells me that there are a lot of resources teaching our kids English outside school and language learning can be done at home too. Of course, moral education can also be taught at home. He thinks moral education is more important and we choose a traditional kindergarten in which the teachers are loving, caring and put a lot of emphasis on moral education. That is the most important for our kids.
How could it be wrong to choose moral education over just a language? A person with integrity is for a lifetime! We as parents need to be careful and not be mislead. Hard-skills can always be learn when needed, they are just tools. But if a child not brought up with the correct values, no matter how smart they are, how fluent with their English, this child is harmful to everyone else.
