We live in Ap Lei Chau. Where do u live? I apply the school bus but am afraid it will not be available to my district.

Now, our plan is to take bus 171P or 171 and get off from Yau Mei Tai. It takes 10 mins walk to school.

What about u?

Yeah, little hope from the bus company. I'll probably take the 117 bus and take off at Nathan Road too. I tried calling couple 保母車, but can't find anyone will go to TSL. sigh....

Hi, we live in North Point and have easy access to Tin Hou and Causeway Bay.

I called the school bus company this morning.  They told me that my kid can probably get picked up at City Garden around 6:45am.  The route and pick-up time are not confirmed but there were 4 kids taking school bus from HK.

If you guys end up organizing a school bus by yourself and it ends up a later pickup time for me, would you mind giving me a shout?  Thanks.

Hello tingfai:

  I got the phone call too.  It was not that early, 6:40pm, but the bus comes back on 5pm~ish.  That's a long ride home.

  Do you rememeber when the class ends? 3:30? Just to be ah Q, my girl can definitely get some naptime before homework.

  I wonder wether to take the offer too...... sigh.....

U are more lucky! 6:40am is more reasonable and acceptable.

The class ends at 3:30pm. The school bus will come back to our home after 5:00pm! My hubby said it is unacceptable for our kid to spend 4 hours in total in bus for a day. Sigh*

Well, I agree that spending more than 3hrs in the school bus is not acceptable; the bus fee is more expensive than the school is not acceptble..... but what choice do we have??? sigh....

Just hope our children really love this school.

are there more children living on the island and want to share a nanny bus?

we live in wanchai. i really want to study if we can gather enough children to organize a nanny bus running through western tunnel. it saves a lot of time, but of course costs quite a lot.

i've found a nanny bus company which has made a wild guess to me - if there're around 4-5 children, cost is about $2000 each.  i firstly thought that the price is very high.  but now i believe it isn't.

the school bus company today made a quote to me.  we live in wanchai.  taking the eastern district route, the price is $1950.  and pick up time is 6:30am and drop off time 4:10pm.  the pick up time is way too early.

are there any hong kong island parents want to share a nanny bus?  i think we can really look into the possibility.

as far as i know, the nanny bus company has one bus left. and some st paul boy parents are also discussing to hire a nanny bus.  so hope we can act fast.

Hi yuengooluk,

I have interested in the nanny bus. I also know a TSL student living along Pok Fu Lam road whom may have interest in it.

My concern is the pick up time and cost. I live in Ap Lei Chau.
