請問有冇住荃灣麗城二期, 要返工但係小朋友係返kentville 既媽咪? 你地既小朋友返學辛苦嗎? 每日幾多點起身?? 小朋友適應到嗎??

My daughter is studying in Kentville. She usually wake up at 6:30 am and get ready to take the school bus around 7:20 am. She comes back home around 12:30 pm and after lunch she would take a rest for one hour. She usually go to bed at 8:30 pm.

I don't think that it's not very hard for her and so far she loves going school everyday and learns a lot from Kentville as well. I think that it all depends on how you arrange the time schedule for your child. Do your kid takes the school bus.

Yes, he will ride on the school bus.

Besides, did you bring your daughter to school for the first few weeks/months or just by school bus?

Do you still have time to teach/help your daughter on her homework?? At least she needs to have a preparation for her books. If she sleeps at 8:30pm, it seems that you can only have a short period of time to communicate and play together.

I guess you will let her to study until K3, am I right? So, what primary school will you choose for her?? Primary school in Tsuen Wan or Kowloon side? Actually, I have targeted some primary school in kowloon side such as 陳守仁 (taikoktsui) & 聖馬加利 (Laichikok), I can't make up my mind whether I should let him study in kowloon side now or after K3.

I also like TSL (陳守仁), this is also one of the reasons that I want Rachel to study in TASF (I'm still waiting for the result & hope to receive the good news tonight) because there are additional marks (10 marks I guess) for Po Leung Kuk's applicants and I heard that TSL like to receive the graduates from TASF.

Hi Gordon mo,

On the first two weeks we sent my daughter by ourself.  Then she takes the school bus untill now.

I usually take a look on her hand book and my daughter reports me everyday.  As you know they have a Chinese book on their bag.  (It seems they are concentrate on Chinese)  I usually spend 10 minus to ask her everyweek.  I perfer teach my daughter through VCDS and other books just because they can learn very good in Kentville.  She gots full marks for four subjects.  I was very surprised and I know that it is not necessary for us to worry about this school.  They would learn from the teachers very fast.  It's hard for parents to teach their kids at home.  Do you agree.

We would spend our weekend with my daughter.  Her father usually speaks English with her.  I think I will let her to study untill K3.  After all, I have no idea right now.  Of course, I perfer let her go to Primary school in Kowloon side.  But.....I have no idea now.

Did you daughter cry badly when you leave her for the 1st 2 weeks? I tell you what my son is really very 嗲 when he sees me. Nobody can take care of him when I am with him. Besides, I guess you may have owed a car to bring your daughter to school.

Btw, Will they learn Mandarin in K1? Sorry for asking so many questions?

TSL is a good primary school. So that's why I just keep thinking whether to let Gordon studies in kln side or TWs' kindergarten. I am worried this will influence his chance to study in TSL if I choose Luk Yeung Kindergarten. However, he seems very happy to study in Luk Yeung.

World is never perfect.

Gordon Ma,
As far as I know, children from PLK will has 10 marks more than children form other kind of Kinders. Among the Kinders of PLK, TSL likes to accept Tam Au Yeung Siu Fong's children because of their English standard. I think if you want Gordon to study in this kind of Primary School, you've better choose Kinder in Kln Tong. That's what I'm thinking of as well.

Hello SaliNana,
7:20am seems a bit early ... would you recommend school bus or private light bus ??
May I know how 'tranditional' are their teaching approaches ?? Would the children 死讀書 too much ? Do they have many home work ?? How could they make the children to 自動自覺做功課 ? Are their teacher really cool ? I'm sorry for asking so many questions. But the answer of these question would help us a lot. Thank you very much.

Congratrulation!! So, you are moving to Whampao Garden. haha, it seems that our kids are really very smart.

I guess I will let Gordon try first, if it is really not suitable for him, then, I may move him back to TW kindergarten.

Hope they still have a chance to be classmate in TSL.

提外話: Have you got all the "

ROGRESS REPORTS" from Littleton? They still owe me(Rachel) a Report for the term of March - August 2004. I rang them several times and every time the receptionist answered me the same: "Sorry, I'll check & call you back"

. Although the report is not so important for me, I still want to keep one as a record.

P.S. I tell you one thing, when Rachel was looking at the photos of her last birthday party in Littleton a few days ago, she said to me: Look! Mammy, this is Gordon ar. And then, she sang: GOOD MORNING TO YOU, GOOD MORNING TO YOU,..........

About Littleton, I think they are a bit 亂 after the hand-over of the new receptionists.

About BK's X'mas party, I'll not join lar. I thought the deadline was yesterday. How about you?

Actually, Funful will also have a X'mas party held in a hotel on Dec 19. Maybe I'll join it as Rachel can play with her classmates.
