Did you mean you feel fine with So-in, Serlin (except its chinese)?
For Chinese, I believe it just takes time, read more books and do more exercises, eventually it will do. Just that the pace of improving for having the tutorial may not be quick enough to catch up with the school's progress. My girl always found the comprehension part more difficult.
For Math, I don't just believe the talents of children make a whole lots of difference. I believe the way of teaching the concepts and solving problems is crucial to training the kids to do the math arithmatic. To solve a problem, there could be various ways to do so, just as teaching, there are various ways to explain concepts. Once it's clicked, the world is changed.
Anyway, I 'm letting my girl to try So-In. I'm more concerned about how they teach math concepts and how their exercises could strengthen their understanding. Hope it works. |
