That is also true. What I am thinking is even you group the same kinder kids to the same class you will at most have a few kinder classmates that you recognised (e.g. even if you have like 20-30 from St Catherine intake they are from many different classes). So you still will meet many new kids.
And I think first year in a Primary is quite different from the same Kinder you have been studying for 2 years, thats why even though I agreed there should not be a real adaption problem it would help the kid to do better.
And I think it is still better than just group them randomly.
