I am a mom of K2 son. He is super small boy. ( Born in Dec and from kowloon Tong kindergarten). I want him to repeat K2 but school have no place. I am worry he still not repeat K3 in the same school so he will be very small boy in P1.

What can I do now ??

Is any good kindergarten ( kowloon tong) accept outside child to repeat K3 ?

Please help. thanks

Academic is Ok but he is small boy. Social skill is much weak.

1. you have to call the schools that you are interested to find out if they have vacancy for K3

2. you should discuss with his teacher and see if the teacher suggests repeating... there are many super small Bs and most of them do not repeat, so repeating is not necessarily be a normal case....

when you are talking about social skill, it may not be the problem of "skill" but the personality of the kid.  can he talk or express himself with sentences? or he's just not willing/ hesitate to join other kids for fun?

He can express the feeling in most of the time. But sometimes, he will be subborn when he cannot finsh the task by himself. ( just like, he cannot combine the lego together)  One day in the school, I saw most of his classmate were riding bicycle when he was K1. But, he only stood beside and looked at them because his physical skill is not well-developed. So I am very worry......

Have you yourself trained your son in the areas you mentioned? Don't rely on school to train up your son in all areas. He just spend 3 hrs in school every day.

If you don't have time to do it on your own, you can arrange some relevant courses for your son.

You still have time to do this!

Meanwhile, you can try to find a k3 place for your son to repeat. In case your son cannot catch up during this year, there is still a K3 place for him. However, don't limit your choice to KG in KLT only!

But you have to think about whether to apply P1 and join the lucky draw the coming year!

The reason I hope him to study KLN KG because there is guarantee in academic. Not much worry. Otherwise, I am afraid he will be much worser than now.

1)  I don't know which kg your son studying in Kowloon Tong now.  But you may better check St. Cat./Kent/KM whereas they must have some places open in K2/K3 every year by those left for CCKG but you have to catch up the good/right timing.
2)  If above 3 kgs have no place, you can even consider York which is also a good kg but expensive.
3)  My girl is also a small B born in Dec., her motor gear is weakness than elder, however, don't worry too early, they will pick up before P3.  Meantime, I found my girl has big improvement after 6 months from her Ballet/Jazz class.
