i want to know also...still waiting. from my observations on interview day, the teachers were kind,patient,they lead my kid to answer the questions!!also their arrangement was very good ....other than these things...do they have PTH teaching or NET teacher???

They don't have NET teacher. Phutonghua seems to be one class per week.

I like their good P1 allocation result.

They have NET and PTH.
They have Phonics.
Almost 70% of their P1 allocation are St. Paul Co-ed and St. Paul college, not depends on school-net but relationship with old students' parents etc. and kids' interview performance.

70% would be overstated as you can review the P1 allocation results for the past 4 years from their websites:

The range of attending a DSS is between 26% to 43% at Central and 29% to 43% at Mount Butler, which this number include schools other than St. Paul's Co-ed and St. Paul's College already. So, the percentage of attending these schools would be less than that.

Nonetheless, the percentage is still consider very high for parents interested in either of these schools.

聽我朋友(ex & 現任SKH家長)講，其實SKH既課程唔算深，英文& PTH方面比起好多KLN TONG KG亦算少，所以如果一心係想搵間教得深&谷既KG既話，SKH就一定唔係。咁點解佢地既P1 result好？係因為d家長會自己train up & 安排野俾小朋友學，加上有d家長又係名校舊生，學校/校長個網絡..etc. 扣門機會又大左。

不過我最鍾意SKH既反而係佢地好注重小朋友品德/禮貌/自理呢d，加上老師好nice & 有愛心，我覺得KG除左學術要教到小朋友之外，呢d係更重要。好老實，出面好多KG，教得好P1 result好既，品德教育就做得唔好，相反老師好品德教育教得好既，學術/P1 result又唔太理想，所以我覺得SKH算係一間兩方面都做得好好既KG。

No need that stress, I just typo to miss the "etc" at the end. And I see the thread has no answer from others for long time, just give some ideas. Everyone knows how to access school's website for the details. And I don't know my written leads more react than the thread beginner.

But, anyhow, all we could see is most of their student allocated to top Primary schools la! Less than 30% kids are relied on lucky draw. That's why it is our cup of tea. Furthermore, their edu philosphy and cirrcumlum also are worth to be concerned - very good arrangement and training.

Refer to their website, we would see the awards result... I do believe that those parents invest a lot a lot of time and money on the kids.

Totally agree!! Education is not only focus on academic, but also morale and attitude. It is more difficult to train or learn than academic. Also, it is critical to learn during your toddler stage as it will benefit/affect your whole life if you didn't treat it well.

Does that mean the children are involved in many many many extra-curricular activities beyond school (Sometimes, I hear kids with 5-7 types of activities after school)?

I have friends there, the son have 8 extra-curricular activities - but the mom said it is already few when compared with others.

Some have private tutor to their home every day since K2.

Some go for P1 interview class for one years.

You go to their website - there is one page on the medals the children win in external competitiion - then you will have an idea how much effort, time & money the parents spent on the child apart from KG schooling.

It is really very impressed!!

The parants can afford economically and they also would like to groom up the kids to be smarter than others.

OMG, and I am having a hard time with 4 activities for my 3 year olds.

I was struggling if I should add more. 8 activities? Isn't this harding than going to a 2nd kindy? May I ask what the tutor will teach a K2 child (esp if SKH curriculum is not so difficult)?

Would the school give some guidance of what activities are suitable for the kids development?
