現時聽到好多新直資 or 私立的小學, 話會 or 己經開辦IB課程..

但以我所知, 好似唔係你話有就有的, IB總部會揾人黎 check and 評估的. 咁...

1) 會唔會有 d 學校辦辦吓 辦得唔好, 會比人取消資格?
2) 係唔係以佢地 IB網址內所 list 出黎既學校為準及承認的呢?
3) IB 課程是否由細開始學最好?
4) 如果先讀普通學校, 到預科才讀報IB可行嗎?

答。未聽過有，但這是合理推測。

2) 係唔係以佢地 IB網址內所 list 出黎既學校為準及承認的呢?
答︰應該是。

3) IB 課程是否由細開始學最好?
答︰不是。李寶椿只開預科班。

4) 如果先讀普通學校, 到預科才讀報IB可行嗎?
答︰李寶椿就是收這類學生。其他IB學校收不收插班生就不知道了。

2) 係唔係以佢地 IB網址內所 list 出黎既學校為準及承認的呢? Of course, you can't just claim "IB approach" forever....

3) IB 課程是否由細開始學最好? Most high schools in US, Australia, UK runs IB and not in elementary and middle school levles, and not every kid fits in IBDP. SPCC & DBS only allow student upto certain standard can be admitted into Pre-IB and then IBDP.

4) 如果先讀普通學校, 到預科才讀報IB可行嗎? Very soon no more matriculation, now only LPCUWC provide IBDP in F6.

IB亞洲總部的Peter Kenny, 專家表示，亞洲地區中IB在香港發展最迅速，提醒IB成功關鍵在教師配合，未來會集中新校的師資培訓。

如果 IB 成功與否是在乎教師的能力和配合, 咁咪即係話唔係咁容易搞得好, 亦唔係有什麽必勝的優勢. 唔係話你吹幾句引入IB課程就得...

現太多學校講 IB, 我反而開始覺得名過其實, 唔係話 IB , 係話 d 學校...

A lot of schools claim to use IB approach, but not all are certified to be IB schools.

So doubt whether those non-IB schools have teachers who have really gone through IB training.

So doubt whether those non-IB schools have teachers who have really gone through IB training. (I know some IB approach schools sent some teachers for IB training and being certified even the school not certified yet.)

Some observations to share, some International Schools in HK using IB curriculum from elementary to senior high, their IBDP examination results can't match with LPCUWC, which only accept F6 students and most of them doing very well in HKCEE. The best IB school in the world is in UK, F1-F5 follow GCSE and then F6-F7 using IBDP. You can draw your own conclusion!!!!)

是否應將基礎知識個底打好, 才學會更容易掌握. ... (I think so, IBDP is not fit every kid. In SPCC and DBS, certain students upto certain standard (like top 80 in the form) and more fit in IBDP are admitted to the program. As no throughput yet, I can't conclude anything from here.)

I declared my personal interest that my son studies Pre-IB in DBS.
