相信學校比較難入，原因有２：
１： 依據2010年HKCEE結果，6 科14 分以上是56.9%. 羅氏基金中學已進入band 1 學校中，將同區的直資如真道、優才、和播道比下去，明年競爭很可能轉趨激烈。
羅氏的中學全面評鑑報告也說 ：
The performance of the first cohort of student in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE) in 2009 was very good. The percentage of students obtaining 14 or more points in the best subjects in the HKCEE was much higher than the territory average for day-school students. In comparison with schools with similar S1 intake, the school performed very well in the HKCEE and the performance far exceeded the expected level。學校是高增值的學校。報告只描述了2009的會考成績，但2010的成績其實比2009更好。
２：由於下年開始是第一年的一條龍保良局陸慶濤小學的學生直上中學，所以只餘下20%到30%學位可收外來的學生。
