蘇浙的n班，呢兩三日係報名日。

明知佢地寫到好明確，要1月1日至8月31日出世的bb，我自己阿b係12月中，照佢地定的規格係「唔合格」，本住一試，我都親身走左去排隊。

結果，佢真係連表都唔肯收。

當時，蘇浙的老師都走去問上司，俾定係唔俾我小朋友報名，見他們都會去問，可見老師們都是有愛心，有很強的同俚心。但就是因為我的小朋友是9月-12月出身，所以入唔到。

然後...很直接，我再仔細望一望，n班的學額，同k1是一樣的。咁計一計，就知道就算我報插班入k1，未到面試都機會甚微.....蘇浙以外，仲有好多間的學校k1只收滿3歲的學生，望住自己的小孩子，好似連入學都無晒希望咁，眼淚就流下來了。

bb，是媽媽不好，不應該讓你成為12月的bb。

Don't be sad....At least, I personally know 3 mums whose kids were born in late Dec cannot enroll KCS PN previously but sucessfully admitted to KCS K1 as a "small boy" last year and this year.  But one of them repeat K1 this year as that "small boy's" though smart but motor skill cannot keep up with K2 standard, so, his parents choosed to repeat K1 to be a "Big Boy" in K1.

n班的學額，同k1是一樣 - Are you sure?  Based on my knowledge, 2 years ago, there are only 5-6 PN classes, but 11 K1 classes.  Maybe I am not updated enough now. Besides, some PN students may go to some more famous KG, like SKH, St Paul Convent.  Besides, some KCS PN students will transfer to KCIS (the internation KG of KCS). So, not all KCS PN students will go straight to KCS KG.   

Thus, if you like KCS, remember to apply next year.  Good luck!!!

經你咁樣一問，我立即再走入教育局的幼稚園概覽，原來我睇錯左，係K1同k2先係同一個數字的人數。

但係，概覽入面並無寫到n班的收生人數，所以我無得比較。

如果真係由5-6班n，到11班k的話，咁講法，還是會有希望的 ^_^

其實...如果可以的話，我想俾bb做大仔。但睇到競爭咁大之後，我地細b真係搵到就要入，唯有下年再申請在蘇浙repeatk1

Wish to share some thought of mine here.  My boy is a small boy ie under 2 years old when the school started in Sept.  Of course, they will not entertain me and will not accpet my application.   I wrote a letter to office immediately indicating my intention to get into the school when my boy became two.  And luckily he was offered a place when he reached two.  So if you really wish your child to get a place when he comes to 2, write to the school now and then knocking the door of the school when he is 2, maybe lucky enough, there might be a place for him

But to be a small kid in the class is not easy.  Think of the fact that when you come for P1 interview, you are competing with some children who is 10 or even 1 year older than your kid - you will feel that you kid is not mature enough.  Mature is not sth that you can train but it comes with experience.  

To be a big kid is not sth bad, it equip the child better when it comes to P1 interview.

may I know "SKH" represent which KG pls?  tks!

btw, are N1 students hv greater chances of being accepted to K1??  I've heard some ppl said that it also depends on their performance during K1 interview, i.e. no advantage over outsiders??  quite worried...........

Hi, Pingu_k, I remember you, so, which PN you finally choosed for your kid?

SKH = 聖公會 KG, it is a very famous KG on HK Island.  

Though the KCS PN students have to sit for a KCS K1 interview too.....I personally think they will have more advantage than the outsiders. If I were the KCS KG teachers, I would prefer to intake more KCS PN students as they have been trained for 1 year under KCS teaching model and language already..........so, must be easier to teach. My personal opionion only, not representing the school : )

I agree with GIPW's saying, even half year can make a great difference among kid's ability.

u remember me? : ))  yes, i've seeked valuable advice from u b4!  I've finally chosen KCS!!  but frankly speaking, it's really hard for me (actually for my kid too) to take my kid to school by myself (based on these 3 days' experience)!!  my waist already is so painful!!  donno how to go on......

btw, i've sent u a pm, but failed to deliver! : ((

我個仔係12月底 (尾到冇人有...), 當年亦都冇入n班, 係2歲8個月時直接入了蘇浙的k1! (我應該係 sorb 所講既其中一個 mami, right, sorb?) 我呢2日睇番k2學生既資料, 佢地舊年k1時每班都係一半由n升上, 一半收新生 (新生都唔少), 所以你都唔好太擔心.  

我個仔2歲時就係其他地方讀n (不過2個月之後quit左), 所以報蘇浙時我地就填左其他學校讀n1, 唔知會唔會因為佢地見都有讀n1, 所以收阿仔做細仔, 嘻嘻!

至於大仔定細仔, 真係好睇個小朋友能力. 我到依家都唔知應該比兒子一直做細仔定轉做大仔, 但我會同自己講, 做住細仔先都好,唔得都仲有一年機會 (好阿q精神).

唔好擔心咁多, 依家先係幼稚園咋!

我舊年幫女女報n1時都遇到咁嘅情況，當時想法同你一樣"why 我個女要12出世？"，不過都照同佢報k1, 好好彩差不多間間都收，最後蘇浙都收咗下午班，我見今年佢地收好多新生，就女女個班39人, 只有11-12個係n班上嚟。

除咗呢間你報多幾間n or k, 如果收先考慮, 唔收就直情出年再報大仔。

Yes, your son is 1 out of the 3  : )

My kids's class with around 40% classmates promote directly from KCS PN. So, lot of vacancies for non-KCS PN students.

Pingu_k, welcome to join the KCS big family.......  give yourself one year to observe to see if you like this KG.   

Don't wear high heel shoe to walk up the slope.....you will feel better when the weather is cooler.

N1 收200人(上午+下午)
K1 收450人(上午+下午)
petunia 不用擔心. 有250個位 其實n1升上k1 今年只有160-180人 n1 每班好似有1-3個唔收的.所以不是一定直升
我個女9月23日出生. 個仔上年讀n1今年讀k1. 我去問之前仔仔個班主任.都唔收囡囡張表格

我個情況都係一樣，阿女上年個 N1 班主任都唔收細仔張 form，因為阿仔係 10月出世，無計 ^^

如果要讀N1的話, 教育局規定個小朋友一定要足2歲, 如果小朋友系細仔, 就要等到第二年年初(下學期)插班, 咁就要是乎學校有冇學位空缺, 如果有小朋友系下學期離校, 先有位多出來收細仔。

Hi Parents, my son born at end of Dec 2005 , is just accepted by KCS P1 next Sept. However, my son was not from KC kinder.  I think there still hope for small kid to enter KCS P1. Add oil!
