Any comments or advices from current parents of SPCN (Tai Po) ?

Will there any difficult testings / questions to kids ?
What are their preferences on picking successful applicants ?

you mean k1 or n1? for k1, the kids have to go interview with the principal themselves. the principal asked them to do some simple task, colours, names, kind of questions, not much different with other kg except it's interviewed by the princial herself and have to go without parents.

bear in mind that they won't take much new comers for k1 as most of their n1 students will stay for k1.

I am going to apply for N1 .... my gal will be super Big B (Nov 2008) next year as the staff also advised me that they preferred Big B.

For me, I also agree my gal to be Big B as she will have stronger learning ability and also more independent.

But their full-day class's school hour is really very long ... from 8:00 am to 5:45 pm.... also with classes on Sat.

if my memory serves me right, SPCN does offer am half day class for N1-N3 students. not sure if you are a full time mom, if not, full day class is actually a good choice than spending half a day with helper/grandparents home. moreover, the kids have lunch and take nap in school, which is actually good for them that they care take a good rest at school, trust me, kids eat much better at school than home!

if your ultimate target is SPC, then strongly suggest you to be big B too, this year, some of the small b from SPK/SPN didn't get any offer from SPC finally as SPC prefers big b. i'd definitely let my girl to be a big b if she were born at the end of the year too.

For 幼一, there are options for either am or full-day classes. For 幼二to幼四, it must be for full-day classes.

Now, I am a full-time mom and if my gal studies for full-day, I definitely can resume working. And I do believe kids can learn to be more indepently at school, esp spending long time at school.

Is your gal being a student of SPCN or a graduate from SPCN ? Hv u got any comments on the course curriculum ? But I believe it is not easy to get in SPCN as there are limited seats there. They may have privilege over siblings studying there or being a catholic.

BTW, I've heard that most of the gals can get an offer at SPCS. Is it true and applied in recent years too ?

n1-n2 今年仍有half day, 出年應有更改, 留意網上公佈
8:00開門方便家長跟手上班, 上堂時間9:00
full day 好似4:30 可以接放學(最遲5:45)
星期六唔需要返學, 如家中無人照顧仍可帶回學校
