Hi Hi5mama,

My daughter was accepted by St. Francis.  I, myself was a old Francisans, I like my school very much except the am/pm arrangement. (P.1/3/5 are in  pm session and P.2/4/6 are in am session)

During my primary and secondary which was N years ago, the teachers were very nice and friendly.  The academic result of this school was also good.  The students of this school are humble and polite.
I enjoyed my school life in St. Francis very much and proud to be a Francisans.
But you must remember my information may be not update since my days in St. Francis was N years ago. Most of my teachers left the school already and my be there are also a lot of other changes.

I always want my daughter to be a Francisans, but since she was also accepted by another convent school, which is a full day school, (as I mentioned I don't prefer half day especially 3 yrs am / pm)  I have to give up St. Francis.

If you don't mind its location (actually its good caus its quiet) and its half day arrangement, it is a good choice for girls.

My daugther has got a seat in the first round. I have not yet made up my mind to go or not. Just like what mother-wendy says I have some hesitation on the school location and the school is a bit small. How about you? Why you choose the school? Please share your opinion.

Have you received any update information from the parents that with children studying there now.

Thanks for your information. In fact, I have heard similiar good comments about your mother school from one of my friends. (As most of my friends do not familiarized with Wan Chai Schools.) Therefore, I would like to hear more from others.

Do you mind telling us which convent school you will choose?

I am also an old-girl of SFCC.  I studied from P1 to F7~~

I like the school very much, for its good learning environment, close relationship of student-teacher, strong religious ethics and  低調作風.

At the time of my study in SFCS & SFCC, they stressed much on English teaching, in my years, maths/science/health education/geography are all taught in English.  Since F1, our assembly were all conducted in English, no matter when you were attending assembly, having class discussion, all were in English.

If you ask about "pressure", of course there is, but once you get use to it, it is normal, afterall, it is just a mild pressure, not high pressure.

I am also a Francisian. I studied in SFCC from P.1 to Form 5. However, I did not choose this school for my daughter as I've heard from many parents in the past years that it was not as good as as before. It was a Chinese school and it seems that not many parents take it as the 1st choice. I don't mean that girls there are naughty however academically, not strong and competitive enough.
