Jolly phonics is a very good system for young children to learn phonics.
4 years old may be a bit small to understand it.
In addition, it requires kid to write simple words and sentences at higher level. K1 may not ready to write so many words.
It may be better to wait till K2/K3 or 5 years old. The most important point is that the kid must understand how to do blending.
YMCA in TST has Jolly Phonics class. It divides into 4 levels and can be completed in one year.
For level 1 and 2, both student and parent can study together. So you can know what the student learn in class.
The quality of teacher is very good. Many BK kids study there. |
