Dear Parents

does anyone have any comment on this school ? I have been to visit and i was quite impressed with the layout, facilities and resources. appreciate if you can comment on anything ?

Mine one is boy, I went to Kauyan for a tour around visit. I was very impressed with the resources and facilities. IN our area(central & western district), famous one would be Rhenish Mission, SKH, St Paul Church, SH, Victoria Belchers etc.......

But not even one I mentioned above have the facilities like a a computer room, big soft padded indoor play areas with castles and other Little Tykes big slides etc..... and a decent outdoor playground...

I set my heart in looking for a good school not necessary that famous for my kid.  Everyone said Rhenish is good but school rebuilding work is just started and I don't know how long would it take to complete and the dust and everything would be quite put off........ SKH is very famous and very difficult to get in, so, if everyelse falls, I still think at least Kauyan has a primary to fall back to....

Thanks, Ethaniel. My Daughter interviewed at SKH last Sat can only know the result this coming sat. I also registered Kau Yan and interview on 27Nov.

Same as you, I love the school outlook as well as the facilities. but some people said the standard not very high so I'm quite headache in choosing the Kinder.

Where did you register your boy?

My boy was interviewed last Sat as well. He was alright but I don't give it too much hope..... will see end of this week soon.... That was the second time i went inside the classroom in SKH, I found the teaching materials and the setup are only "OK" as compared to the classroom i saw at Kauyan. KY has the very good layout and "not too old" materials...

But then again, eveyone said SKH is famous, but I want to know what is it famous for apart from the phonic course, i like the school without uniform, I like the big playground, my son enjoyed the drive in the playground, but, KY has these as well......

St Paul Church
Rhenish
Kauyan

Hi ethaniel,

I also registered those schools that you mentioned but one more is St. Stephen's Church. this sat will be a busy morning cos hv 2 interviews, st stephen church and st paul church. however, some people said that st paul the environment no so good and also they don' hv fixed classroom for kids.
Do you know anything about this school?

St Stephen's church the classroom is very big and the environment is ok but don't know whether the standard is good or not. Any comments fm your side?

Quite anxious to know about the result at SKH.

it was started on the 23 Oct for a few days, not sure have they stopped the application yet, give them a call tomorrow and find out...

I am not faimilar with St Stephen Church so I can't give any comment on that....sorry...

St Paul Church....I met a parent who told me that their general knowledge for the kid to learn is quite wide and the level of English is good....having partitions as the dividers would bear no harm but I can't make any comment yet as I haven't been in the classroom to see. I am that kind of person whose take quite strong influence based on my own observation and instinct.

Like last week, went to SKH for interview, I found, personally, the teachers are too young.... then went to St.Paul Church to get application, I was impressed with those teachers I came across, I feel they were very "experienced". So, I just want to be being objective.... will found out tomorrow....

Kau yan - the day I had the tour was led by an very nice and experienced teacher, she said thing so slowly but with authority. Just reminded me my teachers when we were in schools....
