Hi Fanny393/Kae,

I'm new join today, and I also have below problem.
My son is accepted by both KRS & TTPS.
Firstly, I like the KRS very much since my son is now studying in the kindergarten k3. He is very happy when going to school every day.
But the main point is KRS do not have any secondary school for back up.

For TTPS, I know he had a English secondary school, but I don't know more about his primary school & scecondary.....

Can anyone help to choose ??

Hi Kae,

How good of the TTPS's secondary school, it belongs to band 1 or not? where is the location of this secondary school? Thanks in advance!

As i know, TTPS is a new school located between CheungShaWan & LaiChiKok, and it is their 1st year (2004) to start with secondary school.
They are a English school (直資), and not yet have any brand (due to they are new)...
it is all i know when i visit their website.
So, i'm also very confuse how to choose KRS or TTPS....

I like TT as they use Mandarin to teach Chinese.

FYI. 沙田崇真中學是崇小的聯繫中學, 其為band 1中學, 而基崇雖是新中學, 但因為是直資, 相信自由度會較大, 邱頌云校長亦是很有實力的校長。

在另subject "九龍禮賢今日收到信" 中, your son also accepted for P1.. will you registrator at KRS, and which school you also apply for ?
How do you choose...

If I were you, I choose 九龍禮賢. This is a very nice school in terms of school academic and moral education of the students.

Hi, PP mum,

If I were you, I will keep studying in KRS. At the earlier stage, I also think about applying TTPS but finally, I didn't do that.

The reason is when comparing these 2 school, the are ver similar but the difference of TTPS is 1 dragon which is also the reson I think about to apply. But, when we studied these 3 years in KRS, I deeply feel that they are very warm family. All teachers is very nice and keen on educate children, not just a job. Maybe the acadamic result is not very very outstanding like other more famous kinder in Kowloon Tong, but at least my son is being educated very positive thinking. He enjoy in helping others and sharing with others. When you have any problem, teachers always do their best to help.

So, if he is studing in their primary division, at least he don't need to face big change. You know, even they are bigger, upgrade to primary still a very different life. So, finally I didn't apply TTPS.

Hi PP Ma,

I am newly joined member. My son study in KRS K3 Upper Hope so he is your son's classmate. My son is also accepted to P.1. He is also accepted by TTPS. I am still not able to make the choice at this point. Personally I like KRS very much and my son is very happy going to school. Teachers are so nice.

However, TTPS has a great emphasis on English, e.g. phonetics. Besides having native English teacher for English, they have both Chinese and English teachers for other subjects : IT, music. For 常識, it is taught in Eng with Chinese explanation of vocab. For Maths, they have both Chi and Eng Maths exercise. Plus they have a very nice and big new secondary school. I have visited there and am impressed.

Will you join the tour on Nov 26 ? Maybe we can see each other then.

My son is accepted by 九龍禮賢, but i applied for 聖方濟各和九龍塘小学, if my boy is luck, what should be the choice, why?
