I always think that it depend on what is the first priority.
If the kid is the first priority, then your question is yes.
For us, our kid is the first priority. So, we already sold the house 3 years ago and then not buy another, just rent. And we have already change 2 place, right now think about change again.

My answer is 'YES'. We have sold our house at Tsuen Wan last summer holiday and moved near to my daughters' school. It's wealth because your children can save a lot of travelling time.

For me, the answer is 'YES' as we moved from Kln side to HK side 2 yrs ago.

I am also living in TKO. My elder son just got the offer of 2010 from St. Margaret at ShamShuiPo. I want to know how do your kids go to school? How long does it take? As I still got another kid who is studying is K2, I will not move yet until my younger kid settle down next year. As I know, St. Margaret's school bus is not going to TKO so I'll probably send my elder son to school by myself if I can't find any Nanny Mini Bus.

如果負擔得起, 我會讚成囉。其實我地本身都係咁打算, 等小朋友小學塵埃落定, 就會搬去近學校的地點。

我大仔在銘賢讀中一,他是他的爸爸開車送他回校的, 但放學就坐mtr, 車程約30分鐘, 但因為細仔2010年都是選擇在深水埗讀小一, 所以我覺得好辛苦, 你的細仔會依然在深水埗定在將軍澳讀小一呢?

想請教有關小一報地址一事.

如果參加派位, 地址必須要同一校網, 有冇規定要在該地址住左幾耐嗎? 定係其實參加派位前先搬到該地址可以嗎?

報私立和直資, 理論上唔睇地址, 但實際係咪呢?

me too. We have lived in Kwun Tong for over 10 years. When our son is confirmed to study primary school in Kowloon City this year, we sold our house and then rent a flat at Kowloon City in Sep, and my son can walk to school (2-3 minutes) every morning, and can save much time.

I will also help my younger one to apply St. Margaret so that my two kids can study in the same school. I am very surprised that it only takes 30 mins from TKO to ShamShuiPo by MTR.
