蘇浙小學 vs 聖類斯小學 - 小一選校

小兒將於2010入讀小一, 現有兩間私校offer, 蘇浙小學 & 聖類斯小學, 請問:
(1) 哪一間學習程度較深?
(2) 較大機會派到英中?

(1) 蘇浙 tough in chinese, English is average.
(2) St. Louis -both English and Chinese are manageable.

I think it's easier to get into 英中 if kids are from St. Louis since it's an English based primary school.

蘇小is also a English school where all subjects except Chin is taught in English. 派位result is really good but its secondary school is not good so almost all P.6 students will join 派位。

蘇小local stream係中文小學, 除英文課外, 所有科目用普通話教。中文同數學係佢地強項。蘇小有international stream, 0個邊就除左中文課外, 所有科目用英教。蘇小程度其實唔差, 但中學部唔得, 所以到小六就又要煩多次考學校。至於派英中機會, 咁如果讀蘇小又唔額外再補下D英文, 咁一般黎講就梗係讀開英文小學既會著數少少。

蘇浙中學真係唔得, 有朋友讀緊上堂果時又嘈又成....唉!

讀蘇浙蘇浙教的深學的多
各方小朋友都有有香港有台灣有大陸同埋都有好多外國人
根本上是一間小型既國既學校

雖然中學不係算好
但多數讀蘇浙小學出來考考的都非常好
反而讀番自己中學校既唔多人

I have been thinking about this as well. But no sure if many would like to go to 中華基金會 as this seems to be a more popular school recently. I have not much knowledge about this school but looking at their website, the competition seems vigorous.

Agreed that KCS (local) is a 小型國際學校 - apart from local chinese, there are taiwanese, mainland chinese and even the westerners (blonde hair). The level of english will depend on which peer group that your child play with.

My daughter's 蘇浙幼稚園 classmate is P2 now, overall very good comments but he lost his Mandain.....

My daughter's 小同軍 friend's parents did not give very good comments

蘇浙小學 it's a private school, local stream agreed it's小型國際學校 - good Chinese & Mandarin North Point 中學不係算好 but there is an 蘇浙公學 in Shatin英中.....but too far......

聖類斯小學 it's a private school - 中學掂, so you have to pay for the next 12 years of school fees, with good Chinese & Mandarin training

軒尼斯官小(am) gov't school, no need to pay 派位result okey la but students are happy, overall language skills okey but not as good Mandarin/Chinese as with蘇小, not good English standard as 聖類斯.....

軒尼斯官小(pm), I won't consider pm class
