最近三年協恩自行面試只考中、英、數三科，沒有小組討論或者時事題之類。比較特別的是：前年中文要用幾個不相關的詞語作一個一分鐘的故事，今年就主要考文言文，例如成語故事如望梅止渴等（朗讀和解釋字詞）。英文要一邊朗讀文章一邊填充（即文章留空了一些位要自己填字上去，例如preposition或者pronoun），另要就文章內容即時演講約兩分鐘。數學前年是比較似IQ題的英文數，這兩年中英對照和題目淺了一點，小六程度。

這幾年沒都有考過普通話。

Those from HYPS also need to submit their profiles and attend the interview, but on a different (earlier) date, although HYPS students will only be accepted in 2nd round lucky draw.
I think the school wants to know more about the standard of HYPS students (most of them will be accepted anyway) through this interview.

Portfolio and interview are required by HYS. All HYPS P.6 students will get instructions to do these things.

80% or so HYPS students can go to HYS. But for students from other primary schools, only very top students can get in through the 1st round, about 60 seats. For the 2nd round, it's just luck because there'll only be 20 seats or so for all other primary school students (of course must be band 1) to draw. Some seats have been reserved for those who cannot be promoted to F.2 (these may become the 叩門位 later).

HYPS students get into HYS in 2nd round because HYPS is 直屬小學 and more than 100 seats have been reserved for HYPS students. HYS has to accept all band 1 and band 2 HYPS students who apply for HYS in 2nd round.

I think HYS wants to know the standard of HYPS students who will get into HYS so everyone has to make the portfolio and attend the interview.

I guess it *may* affect F.1 class allocation too.

If you don't do these things you'll still be accepted in round 2 (provided you're not band 3), but I think P.6 teachers will ask you to do them.

You are absolutely right. If HYPS girls don't work hard now, they'll have a VERY HARD time in HYS.

請問是否協恩中學也有分'精英班'? 是用甚麼準則來分班呢? 升F.1的要考分班試嗎?
