How serious? But if the classmate already said sorry, only thing I will do is tell my son that next time when it happen, protect yourself & tell teacher immediately, but don't fight back.
If it's not very serious, just take it easy! Your kid will also learn from this experience. Remember don't be panic and anxious, just teach the positive ways and attitudes in case it'll happen next time. :
You must ask teachers do they know about it and why this happen, better ask teacher pay attention on this as well. Teach your kid do not do the same hit somebody to others even she/he is not happy or angry. And ask your kid forgive classmate.
