Hi,
This is what I heard or read from the others:
SC has "public praise" in their English teaching, most of the parent give credit to them in this area, but Chinese learning is relatively weak.
HKBU Kider, experience of my friend:
1.5 year ago, my friend applied this kider for her daughter, she received a call from HKBU, the staff talked to her in English, but the staff wasn't a native speaker. The staff asked several questions, 1 of the questions was "what language do you commnicate with your kid at home?" My friend answered "of course Cantonese mainly, plus little bit English". My friend thinks 100% English is not enough now, Chinese is also very important. Also, she has strange feeling that why the school staff talked to her in English while both of them are Chinese. First impression isn't good at all, so finally she didn't go for interview.
I am not saying HKBU isn't a good kinder, just share what I knew and I heard.
