I called LH(TY) they said now the place of PN is full, why they arrange interview for kids in May is for the little girls or boys for waiting list as well.
The chance of entering to LH is slim if you got the interview in May.
This is a fact. Don't spend much time on comparing before you get the admittance letter.
I understand for a "small bb", the chance of entering any nursery would be limited. However, heard form many bk moms, there is still quite a lot places from LH (Hampton Loft). I don't know if it is true but it really gives me a hope to enter this kg.
For YC, after attending the introdutory seminar and visiting their campus, I like their education philosophy but their campus is a bit old (comparing with LH-Hampton Loft), and they do let the children share the same toilet (which I prefer separate boys and girls toilet). And YC students need to go to different campus for further studies (i.e.: 2 yrs prog - Kentville campus, 3 yrs prog - another campus - I forgot).
Actually YC is quite good despite their campus.
Worry that no pn offer at last so I wonder if I have to choose YC.
My son is currently going to YC 2 year old class........to me, the condition of the campus is just very superficial....... what really made an impact on the kid is the teachers.........YC's teachers are very attentive to each child........ I've been to tones of interviews and YC is the best......

Don't worry that much lar........ I attended 4 other interviews for PN and all got rejected, that's why I have to settle for the more expensive YC. I also had the concern of school fees although I know deep in my heart I like YC best in terms the sincerity of the teachers and passion for the children. If you can afford the extra $2,000 then don't worry that much........ if LH doesn't accept you kid.... then YC lor......it's the only choice.... and you will not regret it...... my son is also taking the school bus to school....... he learns to be independent too.......
May i know if Yew Chung accept application for nursery right after baby is born?

As I understand, they accept application throughout the year unlike most school, so it's best to call them up and ask........ you might want to start with their playgroup (ITLP)
A lot of ppl are not willing to spend $5K-$6K per month on a 2 years old ma..... so I guess competition is not as bad as some other schools with lower school fees.
Is it true that the ITLP program has over one hundred ppl waiting? I was going to queue up for my younger son tim....... but still concern about $$$ since I have two kids.....
