It's definitely high on the 'fun' factor. I always hear 'oohs' and 'aahs' and laughter coming out of the classroom.
My son and his friend were with them for a couple of terms when they were four and they thoroughly enjoyed it. A number of my friends' kids who went also raved about it. Their hands-on experiments and crafts are very engaging so it's easy to understand why children like it so much.
The course programme are well structured and handouts are given to the parents if they wish to reinforce the topics at home. According to SW, their tutors are very qualified in the science department. Saying that, I don't think we need a rocket scientist to teach a bunch of 5 year olds.
Try to go on a weekday, the class is substantially smaller and the kids do get more personal attention than the weekends. |
